Background and Experience
Previously from an engineering background Barry has worked for companies such as ICI, NISSAN and Elring Klinger in roles starting from maintenance technician through to systems engineer, production engineer and operations manager. These roles have involved a broad range of demands including European travel, new equipment procurement, high pressure project management as well as more day to day pressures of keeping the most productive car plant in Europe up and running.
During these 20 years Barry has displayed an exceptional ability to cope with frequent change, high demands and relentless pressure while maintaining a calm head, high quality results and a good sense of humour.
Helping Change Habits and Beliefs
In more recent years the role of change agent in a company trying to evolve its culture and working practices brought new and fascinating challenges - changing peoples habits and belief systems. Having always been interested in personal change and growth Barry became increasingly intrigued in wanting to understand why some people embrace change and others offer massive resistance. Why some people when faced with challenges rise up and win against all the odds, and yet, some give up before even beginning .Why some people are always looking on the bright side and others are always miserable?
A New Journey
These questions and experiences have led Barry on a journey of self learning and he now helps others to unlock some incredibly empowering tools and beliefs to become happier, more effective and confident people.
Barry lives in South Lincolnshire with his wife and two children.
